ARISE – Agro Incubation for Sustainable Entrepreneurship
Subhiksha Keralam is an initiative of Government of Kerala for achieving self-sufficiency in food production across the state. As part of that, Department of Industries and Commerce envisages to promote entrepreneurship in Agro food processing industry and Agro business through an innovative Industry Incubation Program –ARISE (Agro Incubation for Sustainable Entrepreneurship). The objective of this program is to create new initiatives, entrepreneurs, and value-added products in the Agricultural industry. This will ultimately help the aspiring or existing entrepreneurs to start or expand their business in Agriculture sector. The program will be coordinated by Kerala institute of entrepreneurship development (KIED) under the Department of Industries and Commerce.
- To encourage new enterprise creation and scaling up existing businesses of value-added products in the agricultural sector.
- Introduce new and diversified agro-processing technologies and value addition methods.
- Create an ecosystem for entrepreneurs and help to reduce risk by putting them in touch with subject experts, research institutions, sample production facility for test marketing and linkage with government schemes etc.

Who Can Apply?
Individuals or entity from the state of Kerala who wish to start or expand their business/enterprise in Agriculture sector.
